The 11-day Santos Festival of Cycling gives you the chance to see and enjoy the amazing sights of Adelaide with something for everyone from casual observer to cycling fanatic.

The Subaru Breakaway Series will get your heartrate pumping on two wheels. The Westpac Challenge Tour presented by The Advertiser, lets cycling fans tackle the Stage 4 route, with various distances to take part in, allowing cycling enthusiasts to experience the same roads as the WorldTour cyclist. The Westpac Family Ride or Westpac Mini Tour for Kids offer families something more leisurely at the Down Under Classic.

Enjoy one of those balmy summer nights and soak up the atmosphere as Australia's best racers hit the city pavement in the Trek Night Riders. With beats, beers and a floodlit course for the bikes, Adelaide's best restaurants and bars will be the backdrop to the event.

City of Adelaide Tour Village

The latest in cycling technology, apparel and two-wheeled propulsion will be on show in the City of Adelaide Tour Village, but it's not just for cycling fanatics - simply come down to enjoy a meal and a drink in the shade with your mates while absorbing Adelaide's perfect January days.

In 2020, we will have daily panel chats with Matt Keenan and the stars of the peloton as part of the Talking Tour, presented by The Advertiser.

Bring the family or your crew, pull a pew on the grass and enjoy The Big Bike Film Night on January 21. No need to book or register.

For those who like the finer things in life, there are fantastic food and wine experiences in cool comfort while you watch the riders blast past your viewing spot. Get your friends together and check out DeTours (almost sold out). Impress your clients with at the Schwalbe Classic. Watch from the shaded and exclusive corporate grandstand as the peloton flies past.

And for fans of sporting greats, there's the annual Legends' Night Dinner, where we bring the big names of professional cycling for the Santos Tour Down Under's night of nights. You can also enjoy the evening as part of a full suite of Tour experience thanks to the Platinum Club Tour. 

Join multiple Swiss champion, Fabian Cancellara and two-time Olympic Gold medallist, Kristina Vogel. Enjoy bubbles, canapés and three-course dinner matched with local wines while you listen to the legends themselves share their story.

Party your nights away

Adelaide's favourite high streets host street parties on the night or eve of their host stages, where you can relax with a glass of premium South Australian wine while listening to local music and other unique sights of our local areas. In 2019, Port Adelaide's Commercial Road, The Parade at Norwood, King William Road in Unley and Jetty Road Glenelg all host street parties. Just wait to find out what's happening in 2020!
