Lotto-Soudal
The Belgian team has been one of the most frequent participants in the Santos Tour Down Under, and one of the most popular for Aussie fans to support.
Thanks to sprint sensation Robbie McEwan - who claimed three points classification jerseys with the team in 2002, 2004 and 2005 - and mountain master Cadel Evans, the Lotto team has always drawn the respect and favour of Australians.
That legacy continued in recent years with appearances from André Greipel the powerful German sprinter who claimed a record 18th stage victory in 2018. His mantle was taken up by Aussie Caleb Ewan in 2019, who claimed the first pro race of the season with victory in the Schwalbe Classic, and briefly the fifth stage of the Tour before being disqualified for a racing incident.
Thanks particularly to the successes of McEwan and Greipel (12 wins each in a Lotto jersey), the team is one of the most successful in Tour history.
