Team Jumbo-Visma
Another of the oldest teams in the peloton, Team Jumbo-Visma is also one of the more successful.
The team is now the only Dutch outfit in the pro field, with a heritage going back to 1984 when it was established under the name 'Kwantum' following the breakup of the old Raleigh team.
2020 marks an exciting year for the team, with a powerhouse line-up set to take the fight to Team INEOS in the Grand Tours, with big name Tom Dumoulin (ex-Team Sunweb) joining the team.
Long-term fans would remember this outfit under the bright orange and blue colours of Rabobank - the team's long-term sponsor of almost two decades which left the team on the eve at the end of 2012.
With no major backer on board, the team ran under the 'Blanco' banner to signify its unsponsored status, under which it won the 2013 Santos Tour Down Under with Tom Jelte-Slagter. After another short-lived sponsorship arrangement, it signed up the national Dutch lottery and BrandLoyalty - a marketing agency which also owned an in-line skating team.
Today, the team operates the road cycling team, skate team and a cyclo-cross outfit under the Team Jumbo-Visma name.
